Michelle B. Vessely, M.D. and The Vessely Center of Tualatin Oregon announce the introduction of the Fraxel Re:pair™ laser. Dr. Vessely is one of a handful of physicians world wide to be trained to perform Fraxel Re:pair laser treatments. Dr. Vessely was selected by Reliant Technologies, manufacturer of the Fraxel Re:pair, Fraxel Re:store™ (also called the Fraxel® II) and the Fraxel Re:fine™ laser systems, to introduce this advanced laser technology to patients in the northwestern United States. Based on her extensive medical laser expertise with both ablative and non-ablative devices and her treatment success with the Fraxel and Fraxel II lasers, Dr. Vessely was one of a elite group of physicians selected to train and perform Fraxel Re:pair laser treatments.
In December, 2007, the Fraxel Re:pair laser has received the industry’s only FDA 510 (K) clearance for a fractional ablative laser system for treatment of wrinkles, rhytides, furrows, fine lines, textural irregularities, pigmented lesions and vascular dyschromia. This laser was initially cleared for skin resurfacing, ablation and coagulation in May , 2007.
“The Fraxel Re:pair laser combines the tried and true results of the CO2 laser in terms of skin rejuvenation, skin tightening, wrinkle reduction and improvement in sun damage with the safety of a fractional laser device.
