Dr. Michelle Vessely was one of the first physicians in the Northwest to offer Fraxel™ Laser Treatment (FLT), and subsequently to provide Fraxel II Laser Treatments (also called Fraxel: Restore treatments). Now she is one of the few physicians world wide to offer the Fraxel re:pair laser treatments. The family of Fraxel laser treatments provides patients with the positive benefits of traditional laser resurfacing with little to no down time. How it works: With the Fraxel II laser (or Fraxel: Re:store), the spot size of the laser beam is optimized for each energy setting and higher energy settings have resulted in more effective treatments with few side effects. The Fraxel Re:pair laser combines the tried and true results of the CO2 laser in terms of skin rejuvenation, skin tightening, wrinkle reduction and improvement in sun damage with the safety of a fractional laser device. The family of Fraxel lasers has revolutionized skin rejuvenation laser treatments with their fractional devices. You may recall that this treatment approach involves targeting the skin with microscopic beams of laser energy, resulting in significant collagen remodeling without much risk or downtime. The Fraxel Re:pair laser has taken this technology to the next level. In one treatment, patients can experience significant improvement in deeper wrinkles, acne scarring, tightening lax skin around the eyes or neck, improving sun spots and sun damage. Better yet, we may treat the neck and chest as well (this was not possible with the traditional CO2 devices).
